Lessons from the set of
“The Extra”

- You can learn a lot on a film set; not just about making
movies, but about life in general. I’ll post them here later, but here is one.

Lesson #3: Every obstacle can be overcome with creativity.

When faced with a challenge, Instead of getting frustrated, pissed off, bogged down, discouraged, and gather a crowd and bitch about stuff (people, places, things, times and events) switch your mind to think about  different ways to overcome that challenge
(it gives you options), heck you only get frustrated because you think you are out of options.

Negative feelings are natural to experience when faced with a problem, but you know what, the same can be said about creativity, the brain is a natural problem solving apparatus, it’s creating to the tune of 20 million billion firings per second!

I’ve noticed 2 kinds of people on the on the set, those who say “AHH F %^&#! Now how are we going to get the shot”; and those who say “Mmmm…how CAN we get the shot done”

The second group becomes smarter, more creative and resourceful by the day, the first group becomes a little more bitter.

Either way both groups get to choose their response to the event.

Share the Luv ;)

I”ll tell you what I learned from the set of “The Extra”. I learned that everyone from the crew, cast, including the producers, the directors, simply everyone, everyone was kind, professional and a real team. Because of this…the great plot is and how wonderful the cast and crew is, this film is a success!! I’m so proud to be a part of this production. Congratulations and many more!!! g
